Dear Daddy,

Another week without you.. not a fan. I mean I love Mommy and Perdie and all, but sometimes there is just too many girls in this house. Perdie is always trying to steal my clothes and I have to fight Mommy for the bathroom every morning. It can be a little rough. Other than that, life is good at home. Mommy and I went shopping a few times just to get out of the house. We bought pillows and a rug for the living room and a rug and some dish towels for the kitchen. The place is really starting to look better. Next week we are going to get more decorations for the living room. I'll have Mommy post some pictures when she has time. Well I need to go I'm missing one of my soap operas.. maybe you've heard of it Mickey Mouse Clubhouse? I love and miss you Daddy! 2 weeks down.

Thankful Thursday

We are so thankful for our wonderful husband/Daddy!

He is truly one in a million.

We miss him more and more everyday.

2 months young

As of yesterday miss Ellie Raye is 2 months old! I can't get over how fast she is growing. She is such a happy baby! She is always smiling and it is so fun to be around her now.

Today I put her hair in a little pony tail. It's sooo cute! She's had a lot of hair since birth, but this was the first time I tried to put it in a little pony.

At 2 months old Ellie is:

-Smiling all the time

-Cooing to herself and mommy

-Standing up with help

-Extremely good head control

-Laughing at mommy and her mobile

-Wears size 2 diapers

-Weighs about 15lbs.

-Loves her bouncer

-Is hot and cold with her swing

-Drinks 4-6 oz. of formula every 2-3 hours

-Wakes up 1-2x for a bottle

-Loves taking baths

-Not the biggest fan of car rides

-Can put her hair in a pony

Dear Daddy,
We made it a whole week without you and it wasn't easy. Mommy had a really tough time, but Perdie and I came together as a team to try to cheer Mommy up. I think we did okay because she did smile a lot, but sometimes those smiles turned into a few tears. She's doing a really good job of taking care of us. Ohh guess what.. I'm a size 2 diaper. Yup, that's right I weigh 15 lbs. according to the scale Aunt Becky bought. I am still fitting into 0-3 clothes though which makes Mommy happy. Well I love you Daddy and I can't wait till we can all cuddle in your and Mommy's bed again! Stay safe and take care of Minnie!

Ellie's first 4th of July

Ellie's first 4th of July was a success!
The whole family had festive Americana outfits, it was a beautiful 87 degree day, and the food was amazing! We went to Waikiki beach with a bunch of our friends. Ellie and I stayed in the shade and played while Calvin and the boys had an intense football game on the beach. It was huge! Even some of the locals played. We ended up leaving before the 4th of July firework show because Ellie was super tired, but I heard it was a pretty good show. It was an amazing day!

I apologize for not updating this more often. Our family has been trying to spend as much time together before Calvin deploys and this blog has gotten the shaft because of it.

In the past month Ellie has changed soooo much! She weighs at least 10 lbs, sleeps through the night, and she smiles non stop! It's true kids grow up so fast.
